Maison de la Cour is a sun-filled cottage, which faces south across the enclosed courtyard towards the pool and gardens, and the hills and countryside beyond. The entrance leads into a kitchen / dining room with a chestnut floor, an oak-beamed ceiling and a hardwood-tiled dining table with a matching dresser. The fully equipped kitchen features the original hand-carved stone sink, and has a stainless steel gas stovetop with an electric oven, a fridge-freezer, a dishwasher, and a microwave. There is a very comfortable upholstered cane sofa, two armchairs, and a TV.
A few steps lead down to the spacious bathroom, which has a shower, a WC, a mirrored vanity unit, and a large fitted wardrobe; this room also contains a washing machine inside the airing cupboard. An oak staircase leads up from the lounge to a mezzanine bedroom with a double bed, a painted chest of drawers, and painted bedside units. Upstairs again, the wood-beamed second bedroom has two matching single beds, with exposed roof timbers, a chests of drawers, and a rattan seat.
